9 Ways to keep in a positive state of mind!

  1. Write down 10 things you are grateful for and why.
  2. Try something new and share it with others!
  3. Re-Frame your negative thoughts. Acknowledge that it is a negative thought, question it and look at it from another point of view!
  4. Get in contact with old friends that you miss. Don't feel like it's been to long to send an old friend a message, it's never been too long!
  5. Practice asking for help! As Jorah Mormont says in Game of thrones (sorry but I will never be over game of thrones) “No one can survive in this world without help. No one.” And it’s true! Asking for help is nothing to be embarrassed about. Start practicing asking for help!
  6. Have a day off social media! Social media can be a great way to connect but when we find it leaves us upset or falling into the comparison trap, it is time for a day off!
  7. Find a fun way of being physically active for 15 minutes! Exercise increases endorphins, dopamine, adrenaline and endocannabinoids helping us to feel less anxious and more confident, capable and happy.
  8. Take a small step towards a goal that is important to you! It's very easy to get overwhelmed when looking at a big goal, instead take one small step after another
  9. Spend the day responding in only a positive way online. We all know too well how easy it is to get dragged into an argument on social media and just how mentally draining that is. Spend one day just responding to things that you are able to respond to in a positive way.

    I’m Emma, I train women (Offline and Online) who may struggle with their confidence and self esteem. I believe that women need more options that suit different lifestyles and needs, some of us don't have time to stick to a rigid plan, some people are to scared to even set foot in a gym (I have been there).
